This clutch (Artigliare in Italian) is truly one of a kind! With the outer cover being made from shell cordovan tanned by Rocado tannery in Italy, it shows like no other clutch we have made! Shell cordovan leather comes from the hindquarters of a horse and must undergo a long, manual tanning process that lasts a minimum of six months. The result is a beautiful, one of a kind color that has a glossy finish. The leather is very durable and tends to ripple instead of crease when bent which contributes to its long life.
The green museum color is a dark green and black that looks even better in person. Like all of our leather goods, this clutch is hand sewn using a traditional saddle stitch and solid-brass hardware for strength and beauty. The sides of the bag are finished using a double saddle stitch technique with slightly contrasting threads to match both the interior black leather as well as the exterior green. The clutch is large enough to hold an iPhone Max in either pocket and also contains four card slots which can hold multiple cards each. The detachable wristlet is included with two points to attach to for left or right-hand carry.
We offer the option of purchasing a crossbody/waist strap using the same leather as the interior of the clutch, if desired.
