Classica - La Perla Azzurra - Country - Hickory
Description
The color of sunlight held in wood.
In Hickory, the Classica arrives in the fullness of La Perla Azzurra's Country leather — tanned in Italy with the unhurried patience of a craft that measures quality in years, not hours. Its surface glows with the warm amber of polished hardwood, shifting from honey to cognac as the light moves across the natural grain. This is leather that feels like it has always belonged in your hands.
The hand-stitched edges trace every curve with quiet steadiness, the intertwining brown and tan threads grounding the warmth beneath without competing with it. The sculptural handle arcs above it all — full, rounded, and solid, the Country leather supple enough to invite and substantial enough to last.
Close the flap. Two concealed magnets find each other beneath the leather — no click, no catch. Just the quiet certainty of a connection made to last.
Hickory does not fade. It deepens.
Care
To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care when using, but don't be afraid to use it. Good leather pieces need to be used! Simple maintenance practices, such as proper storage using the included dust bag, can effectively preserve the longevity of your piece.
Because leather is a natural material and also because each piece is sewn by hand, it may have small imperfections. They are part of the charm of the bag.
Patina is also something to expect with your piece as that is one of the many benefits of using vegetable tanned leather. The color will deepen and it will begin to get softer and shinier the more you use it, making it even more uniquely yours.
Design
Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.
Grant quite literally hand cuts and hand sews each and every piece. All designs are his originals.
Leather is always vegetable tanned and sources from several of our favorite tanneries in Italy, Spain and the US.
Hardware is solid metal, usually brass.
