Cresta - Chianti/Brass
Description
The color of a full-bodied pour, held up to candlelight.
In Chianti, the Cresta arrives in the deep, wine-dark leather of Conceria 800 — an Italian tannery whose hides carry the richness of a tradition measured in centuries. The natural grain moves across the surface like the memory of something grown in good soil, shifting between burgundy and shadow depending on where the light chooses to fall. Small in scale. Absolute in presence.
The gold stud closure sits at the center of the flap like a quiet signature — pressed, released with a spring-loaded pull that is smooth and sure, the kind of mechanism that makes opening a bag feel like a small, private pleasure. The hand-stitched edges trace every curve in thread that deepens rather than decorates, holding the leather to itself with the steadiness of craft that knows no shortcuts.
The chain and leather strap falls from both sides — gold links giving way to leather where it matters, keeping the bag light against the shoulder, kind to skin and hair, free to move the way a daily companion should.
The Cresta carries only what you need. It does so beautifully.
Chianti does not overwhelm. It lingers.
Care
To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care when using, but don't be afraid to use it. Good leather pieces need to be used! Simple maintenance practices, such as proper storage using the included dust bag, can effectively preserve the longevity of your piece.
Because leather is a natural material and also because each piece is sewn by hand, it may have small imperfections. They are part of the charm of the bag.
Patina is also something to expect with your piece as that is one of the many benefits of using vegetable tanned leather. The color will deepen and it will begin to get softer and shinier the more you use it, making it even more uniquely yours.
Design
Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.
Grant quite literally hand cuts and hand sews each and every piece. All designs are his originals.
Leather is always vegetable tanned and sources from several of our favorite tanneries in Italy, Spain and the US.
Hardware is solid metal, usually brass.
