Cresta - MPG Industria - Graffiti - Pine
Description
The color of old growth, caught in changing light.
In Pine, the Cresta arrives in the Graffiti leather of MPG Industria — a hide finished by hand with a brushed technique that refuses uniformity. The color moves across the surface in waves of olive, moss, and aged bronze, each variation the result of the brush rather than the dye, making every bag a singular expression of the same process. This is leather that looks like it has already lived somewhere beautiful.
The two-tone hand-stitched edges trace every curve in quiet contrast — a cool counterpoint to the warmth of the leather beneath, deliberate and unhurried in the way of craft that takes its time. The gold stud closure sits at the center of the flap — pressed down with a satisfying snap, the magnet beneath holding with quiet authority.
The chain and leather strap falls from both sides — gold links giving way to leather where it matters, keeping the bag light against the shoulder, kind to skin and hair, free to move the way a daily companion should.
The Cresta carries only what you need. It does so beautifully.
Care
To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care when using, but don't be afraid to use it. Good leather pieces need to be used! Simple maintenance practices, such as proper storage using the included dust bag, can effectively preserve the longevity of your piece.
Because leather is a natural material and also because each piece is sewn by hand, it may have small imperfections. They are part of the charm of the bag.
Patina is also something to expect with your piece as that is one of the many benefits of using vegetable tanned leather. The color will deepen and it will begin to get softer and shinier the more you use it, making it even more uniquely yours.
Design
Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.
Grant quite literally hand cuts and hand sews each and every piece. All designs are his originals.
Leather is always vegetable tanned and sources from several of our favorite tanneries in Italy, Spain and the US.
Hardware is solid metal, usually brass.
