Trapezio - Concrete/Antique Brass
Description
Design
The Trapezio was first launched in 2024 and has remained as a staple in our line up. Finding inspiration in vintage bags but updated for modern use, the angles create a striking silhouette that is eye catching while remaining classy. A chain handle that matches the hardware used for the magnetic closure completes the design.
Details
Concrete leather displays shades of gray and olive, depending on the light. As a tumbled leather, there is pebbling present and it feels broken in. The double saddle stitch technique features matching gray thread, creating a thicker strand that maintains an understated feel. Every piece of leather is cut, sewn, and finished by hand. Solid brass hardware is used for the d-rings and chain along with a matching magnetic closure.
Materials
The Concrete leather used for this bag is from La Perla Azzurra, and Italian tannery from the Tuscany region. German sourced thread, engineered for hand-sewing, is used for longevity alongside the antique-brass finished hardware.
Care
To maintain the beauty and integrity of your purchase, we recommend treating it with care when using, but don't be afraid to use it. Good leather pieces need to be used! Simple maintenance practices, such as proper storage using the included dust bag, can effectively preserve the longevity of your piece.
Because leather is a natural material and also because each piece is sewn by hand, it may have small imperfections. They are part of the charm of the bag.
Patina is also something to expect with your piece as that is one of the many benefits of using vegetable tanned leather. The color will deepen and it will begin to get softer and shinier the more you use it, making it even more uniquely yours.
Design
Our dedication to excellence extends beyond materials; it encompasses the artistry and craftsmanship illustrated in every piece we create.
Grant quite literally hand cuts and hand sews each and every piece. All designs are his originals.
Leather is always vegetable tanned and sources from several of our favorite tanneries in Italy, Spain and the US.
Hardware is solid metal, usually brass.
